From Both Sides…
As a designer and artisan, I create within the two worlds of art and industry. Through constant exploration, I challenge myself to bring innovation and differentiation from my art work into my commercial designs and vice-versa. It is this unique cross-pollination that continually expands my perspective on the dynamic relationship between art, craft and industry.
Currently, I am the new product designer for Crown Point Cabinetry where I develop new product lines and design custom pieces for clientele, high-end builders and architects around the country. While designing in the commercial furniture industry, I developed new products with national distribution including the pre-eminent retailer Crate & Barrel.
In addition, I design and fabricate speculative and commissioned artwork for residential, commercial and public spaces such the scuptual clock at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center. I am also a member of the New Hampshire Furniture Masters.
